History

Iveco was born in the late 70’s when 5 preexisting companies combined resources to form a European powerhouse in the industrial engine field. The early 80’s brought global visibility to the company with the introduction of innovative products like TurboStar. In the 90’s Iveco choose to take the path of specialization, launching a series of new engines for commercial, industrial and collective passenger vehicles. The 21st century brought many awards and the formation of Iveco Motors. Today Iveco is FPT Industrial.
