Stoltzfus Home Improvements is a local, off-grid, cabinet manufacturing facility that uses diesel-powered generators as their prime energy source. HooverTec has always been their go-to for diesel service work. Last year, just before noon on the day after Thanksgiving, HooverTec received an urgent call from them.
The diesel had been running when a hydraulic line ruptured, causing a fire that compromised much of the electrical and engine cooling systems. They were completely out of service.
